SUB Fund Payment Guidelines for Unemployment

In an effort to streamline the administration of the weekly SUB Fund checks and to give members ample time to provide the EWBTF Office with proof of payment from Workforce Development (unemployment office), we have added a "book week" for all Supplemental Unemployment Benefit payments.

Members filing for Supplemental Unemployment Benefits will now be paid the week after their first unemployment payment.

To be eligible for payment, weekly verification from the unemployment office that includes your name, the payment week, and proof of payment is required by the end of business day Friday (4:30 p.m.)

Example:  

-  Member files for unemployment on Sunday 05/06/2017
-  Member receives unemployment payment for "Benefit Week" 04/29/2017 - 05/05/2017 on Monday 05/08/2017
-  EWBTF will pay member the SUB Fund Benefit on Monday 05/14/2017

 

The SUB Fund does not back pay.  Failure to submit requested information will result in a week of non-payment.
